Wang Cheng serves as the Head of Fourth Research Department of International Centre on Space Technologies for Natural and Cultural Heritage under the auspices of UNESCO (HIST). His research focuses on LiDAR remote sensing, with extensive experience in airborne, spaceborne LiDAR technologies and their applications in natural and cultural heritage monitoring. He has led or participated in multiple national and international research projects, including major programs under the National Natural Science Foundation of China, LiDAR-related R&D projects in collaboration with government agencies and industry partners.
