In response to the increasing demand for data processing and quantitative applications of massive point cloud data across various industries, Professor Wang Cheng's team has re-planned and developed PCM 2.0. This version features a flat design theme, a brand-new architecture, and a data management platform. Its functionalities cover basic point cloud tools, point cloud filtering, feature classification, mining surveying, forestry applications, data quality inspection, transmission channel safety analysis, transmission channel 3D reconstruction, and more. It also offers customizable workflow settings to further enhance the user experience.

  • 1、Basic Platform: Supports opening conventional point cloud data, model data, image data, and vector data. It allows point cloud rendering based on elevation, category, RGB, intensity, GPS time, etc. It supports section operations; single-point and multi-point selection, distance measurement; and interactive operations such as point cloud data cropping and attribute modification.
  • 2、Basic Tools: Supports basic operations on point cloud data, including segmentation, merging, cropping, filtering, format conversion, and attribute statistics.
  • 3、Machine Learning Classification: Supports three classifiers—Random Forest, Neural Network, and LightGBM—with customizable parameters.
  • 4、Other Features: Offers up to 20 ribbon-style theme switches to meet users' visual preferences. Users can also set pan and zoom operations according to their personal habits.
